Mary is an occupational therapist, specializing in pediatrics. Currently, she is employed as a lecturer in the occupational therapy department at the University of Gondor, Ethiopia. Additionally, she collaborates with nonprofit organizations, including Special Educational Professionals (SEP) in Nairobi, Kenya. Mary’s most notable achievement is walking alongside caregivers of children with disabilities; she prides herself on her ability to emphasize the significance of mental health for the well-being of children with disabilities and their caregivers.
Mary joined TBB in 2020 as an occupational therapist in our mental health and wellness program. She became a certified trainer of the program, and has been leading TBB trainings independently since 2021. Her dedication and passion have advanced Mary into a manager role within TBB. In addition to being a certified trainer, she also serves as the Mental Health & Wellness Program Manager, overseeing both our “Caring for Caregivers” program and our “Mental Health & Wellness for your Patient” program. Mary, a self-described social butterfly, finds fulfillment in being part of TBB’s vibrant team. She is committed to working towards a future of sustainability of rehabilitation within her communities.
